How we designed this stunning Morbi home?

 What is the difference between a house and home? A well known answer is, “A house is just a structure where people live, where as a home reflects those living in it.” And this is what Mr. Suresh Modani wanted for his home. He wanted each room in their 3BHK old styled flat to be unique, just like his family members. Modest and down-to-earth, this happy family of four wanted their home to be warm, modern and homely. Using custom designed furniture, well laid art works and true craftsmanship spirit, this is how we we achieved this beautiful home interior design in Gujarat, interior designer in bharuch.

Location: Morbi, Gujarat

Size of the Home: A 3BHK 1000 Sq ft

Design Team: Maya Space Studio led by Mittal Karathiya who is an Interior Designer in Vadodara.

Design Brief:

This flat was originally built more than a decade ago. The client wanted to renovate this house and wanted to create an unique space out of it. They asked us to create something beautiful from this messy space. Look below for the pics taken when we first entered the site.

Challenge:
This was a little tricky project as the layout and inside planning were supposed to be change entirely. Keeping in mind the building structure and available exhaust point we needed to design the entire interior space.

What we loved:
Every room has a different color theme depending on the person using while the common area have a neutral modern theme. The client was very open for new ideas and was keen to make space trendy. The Transformation

#1 The Living room is designed in a way that it gives a cozy and warm feeling.

This room was designed for their son, who is a Software Engineer and had travelled a few countries. We wanted to create a French Style room in just white and some contrasts of blue. Aesthetically this room is totally different than the entire space.

#3 A bar unit to enjoy their beautiful evenings

The client wanted a Bar space to sit over for their evening breaks and morning breakfast. We envisage this simple and impacting Bar Unit.

#4 Kitchen and Dining area are the heart of any home and we designed it with all our heart

A truly functional Kitchen space and a rich Dining Area will give an enough space to talk through while cooking and having their meals.

#5 A wood and gray palette room for simple and warm appearance
